If you have decided you want to get organized but are very busy and do not have large blocks of time to devote to your organizational projects, commit to doing a certain amount (even 5 minutes) each day. It is best to do the work at the same time each day so you create a habit.

Treat your organizational time as an appointment like any other. Put it on your calendar. For fun, consider making the appointment at an odd time, like 6:17 a.m. or 7:34 p.m., whatever it takes to get you to do it.

Set your watch, cell phone, or an Alexa alarm to notify you that it’s organization time. You may even find that once you get going on a project, you spend more than your allotted time. BONUS!
