Yesterday you took the time to assess where you are *currently* with your photos. (If you didn’t get a chance to do that, do it now at http://bit.ly/photos808)
Today, review your self-assessment answers.
Then do the following:
- Close your eyes for 60 seconds and visualize what it will look like and feel like to have this project competed.
- Based on your “vision”, write down 1-2 sentences outlining your “WHY” of this project. With big projects, we need to keep our “why” front-and-center throughout the process, as motivation to keep going. Need an example?
- MY WHY: I will be able to quickly access any photo from any time period in my life or family history.
- MY WHY: My kids will have one less thing to worry about when I’m gone.
- MY WHY: I will be able to quickly access any photo from any time period in my life or family history.
- Print out your WHY on a piece of paper and put it up somewhere where you’ll see it daily this month (on the fridge or the bathroom mirror).
- Set a timeline for when you want to complete this project. (As we shared earlier, most photo projects can take 40+ hours so you may not be able to complete the project entirely this month).
Inch by inch, it’s a cinch!
